Content Creator

Creating content around homesteading, farm life, motherhood, and sustainable living through “Our Little Coop.” I share educational and entertaining reels featuring animals, kids, gardening, and daily life on our small suburban farm. I’m a mom of five and a special education preschool teacher. I love connecting with others to share parenting tips, or simply chat about the real, everyday moments that come with raising children.

About Michelle

Are you interested in hatching chicks, raising chickens, backyard chicken keeping, hobby farming or raising animals? (Bunnies, goats, ducks, mini pigs, dogs, guinea pigs,) Then I’m your expert!! Hi, I’m Michelle. I’m a wife, mom of five, and I share my days with more animals than I can count. I work as a special education preschool teacher, dog sitter, and together with my husband, I run a traveling petting zoo that brings hands-on animal experiences to schools, parties, and community events. At home, we’ve built a small backyard farm on just under an acre, which we call Our Little Coop. It’s home to chickens, ducks, rabbits, goats, pigs and more. I especially enjoy talking and educating others on raising animals—chickens in particular. Whether it’s hatching chicks, setting up a brooder, choosing the right breed, setting up your coop, predator proofing,or keeping your flock healthy, I love sharing what I’ve learned through years of experience. My family’s goal has always been to live more sustainably and to raise our children with a deep connection to nature, responsibility, and hard work. If you’re starting your homesteading journey, thinking about raising animals, or looking to get more out of your property, I’m happy to help.

Anything related to the expert's areas of experience. Whether you're looking for advice, clarity, or a fresh perspective, the conversation is shaped around what you need.

What if I'm not sure what to say?

That's completely okay. Many people start with a simple question or situation, and the conversation naturally flows from there.
