About Alexander Helander

I have experience in many different areas. - I’m a legitimate English as second language teacher with 7 years experience out in different school. That includes working with learners from every part of society. - I’m a double below knee amputee with osseointegrated prosthetics. Long experience as a user and knowledgeable about the technology. - I’m a professional para-wakeboarder in the seated category. I compete internationally for team Sweden with a 3rd place in the European championship. - I’m a skilled adaptive skier who has lots of experience coaching others. From new riders to experts. - I live with chronic pain and have long experience in pain management and have spent years making sure to have the best possible prerequisites to handle a life with pain. - I live with a chronic degenerative disease. Having done several major failed treatments have given me unique resilience and a mindset that will never give up regardless of the setbacks. - I run a small business together with my wife with focus on motivating others to use their body in a healthy way to improve quality of life. - I have two boys, 4 & 6 years old. My experiences as a chronic pain dad and partner has had a major impact in how I view life and how I handle the human condition. - I survived the 2004 tsunami disaster in Thailand. I have lived with PTSD from the age of 13. Finding my own solutions to make life work has always been one of my biggest strengths. I hope I can help you out, Alexander.
